Response to Sydney's post on 9 principles and 7 yardsticks

When I read Sydney's post on the 9 principles and 7 yardsticks I totally agreed. We didn't really get to go into  much depth on the topic of principles and yardsticks in class, so I don't have a good grasp on the concept. It would help a lot, not just in class and on class assignments, but also trying to find mistakes out in journalism by knowing these. She made of good point about the principles and yardsticks being the "foundation of journalism." Knowing and understanding them would be a big help in how I see journalism, so I can better recongize when I see these on t.v. and in newspapers, etc. I hope in class we will go over them a little more sometime.
