For us teenagers today movies are an enjoyable experience where you can go out with your friends and have fun. Now days we can watch movies on our tvs at home, on the computer or even on our phones. So why do we still go to the movies? First off, who would want to sit at home and watch a movie on your small tv screen with no one around....no one. I would much rather go to a movie theater and enjoy the immersive experience. The big screen the covers all of my vision, the surround sound, the lack of lights. Also when you go to the movies to see a movie that just came out, you can tell everyone that you saw the movie! While everyone else has to wait for It to come out on DVD. Movie business was booming, but then came along tv. Television cause movies to demassify because sales were going down. Movies demassified to niche audiences, but they are still popular today.
